Frequently Asked Questions

How much is a commission?

Each piece is unique so I will need to give you a specific quote based on content, delivery time-frame, visual complexity, and familiarity with the subject material. My prices change here and there, so please check the commissions page for the current price range.

What is your process?

Please check my process page for a full walkthrough.

What are the dimensions of the piece?

I design each illustration at 16” x 20", portrait or landscape depending on content, at 300DPI. This scales up nicely up to larger sizes. If you want a unique aspect ratio for a specific frame, then please let me know and I can design to your preference!

Do you deliver physical or digital piece?

Printing & shipping is beyond my scope. Each piece is a digital file for you to print locally. you having the digital file lets you print the piece as many times and to whatever format you like (only for personal use, and not for re-sale). Print on canvas, posters, framed, jigsaw puzzles, postcards, use it as a phone wallpaper, it’s all up to you! :)

How do I print?

You can print online using any multitude of print-on-demand services and you would ship it to yourself, or can print locally through stores such as Walmart, Staples, Target, CVS, etc and pick it up. People have printed on aluminum before, or on canvas at art stores (eg. Michael's Arts & Crafts (not sponsored)). Usually people print as a poster and fit their pieces to a nice frame.

Can I buy a poster of one your other drawings?

Currently I do not sell any commissioned works as posters to keep each illustration as a unique work of art for each client.

How long have you been drawing?

Since I was a kid, so ~20 years (I’m 25).

What do you use to draw these?

I use the app Procreate on an iPad Pro 11" 2018 model with an Apple Pencil 2.

How long does a commission take to illustrate?

Up to 2-3 weeks of work.

Did you go to art school/how did you learn art?

I’ve taken many side-classes in high school and college for fun, but mostly learned through YouTube, drawing books, and drawing all the time.
